Hello All,
I’m so happy about the brand new community of people who have decided to support Design Mavericks and engage in regular online meet-ups to discuss topics related to design-driven change. We have professionals from the UK, Italy, Netherlands, Germany, Canada, USA, and Australia, all within the first few weeks of announcing this new feature. Thank you for your support and your trust.
Paid subscribers can access bimonthly community webinars where we tackle pressing issues they face. We build on one of the pieces I wrote in the blog, deep-dive into the details, share real-life stories, and tackle common challenges. I’ll host, but I’m counting on the support of community members to share their experiences, what works and what doesn’t, to support fellow designers and leaders in their journey.
I analysed the discussion where members shared topics they’d like to tackle in the first webinar and decided to go for Driving Change within Your Context as a theme. You are all leaders and professionals dealing with some level of change in your various contexts. Carla is trying to embed a customer-centric mindset within the largest insurance firm in Canada, struggling to get buy-in from stakeholders and other design teams. Alana, who works for a digital experience platform in the States, struggles to find effective ways to engage teams for fruitful collaboration. Arun has worked for years to infuse a design-centric way of working in a tech-dominated environment.
This seems like the perfect theme to start our journey together.
If you are not a paid subscriber yet but want to attend the webinars and join the community, please upgrade your subscription by clicking the button below.
If you are attending, have time before the webinar and are in the mood to get into the right headspace, here is a list of a few blog posts I wrote recently that could serve as inspiration for this discussion:
The session will be recorded. The recording will be sent to all paid subscribers. If you experience any issues or have questions, please email me at x@marzia.studio.
I genuinely look forward to seeing you on Thursday!

@marzia will the webinar be streamed on this page for users with a subscrition?
